2.1. Integrity: The International Politics Journal is committed to promoting academic integrity, honesty, and transparency in all aspects of publication.
2.2. Impartiality: The International Politics Journal will maintain editorial independence and make decisions based on the merit of the content, regardless of factors such as race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, or political affiliation.
2.3. Confidentiality: The International Politics Journal will ensure the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and the identities of authors and reviewers during the peer review process.
2.4. Responsibility: The International Politics Journal is responsible for the quality and integrity of the research published in the journal and will take appropriate measures to address any ethical violations.
Roles and Responsibilities
3. Authors
3.1. Originality: Authors must submit original and unpublished work, citing and accurately referencing previous research and providing proper acknowledgment of sources.
3.2. Plagiarism: Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited. Authors must not submit work that has been published elsewhere or is under consideration by another journal.
3.3. Authorship: All authors must have made substantial contributions to the research and manuscript.
3.4. Data and Reproducibility: Authors must provide access to data and methods to enable verification and reproduction of their work.
4. Editors
4.1. Fair and Timely Review: Editors are responsible for ensuring a fair and timely peer review process that ensures author anonymity during the selection process.
4.2. Conflicts of Interest: Editors must disclose any conflicts of interest and refrain from handling manuscripts in which they have a personal or financial interest.
4.3. Confidentiality: Editors must protect the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and respect the anonymity of reviewers.
5. Reviewers
5.1. Objectivity: Reviewers must provide impartial, constructive, and timely feedback, addressing the academic quality and ethical aspects of the manuscript.
5.2. Conflicts of Interest: Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest that may compromise their impartiality and refrain from reviewing such manuscripts.
5.3. Confidentiality: Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the review process and must not use any information obtained for personal benefit or to harm others.
Ethical Violations and Sanctions

6.1. Plagiarism: Any case of plagiarism will result in the immediate rejection of the manuscript and notification to the author's institution if applicable.
6.2. Data Manipulation: Data manipulation or fabrication is considered a serious ethical violation and will lead to rejection and notification to the author's institution if applicable.
6.3. Falsification of Authorship: Falsification of authorship or contribution will result in the retraction of the manuscript.
7. Sanctions
7.1. Sanctions for Authors: Authors who violate ethical standards may face temporary or permanent bans from submitting work to the International Politics Journal.
7.2. Sanctions for Reviewers: Reviewers engaging in ethically questionable behavior may be removed from the journal's reviewer pool.
7.3. Sanctions for Editors: Editors who violate ethical standards may be removed from their editorial roles.
8. Appeals and Complaints
Authors, reviewers, or readers with concerns about ethical violations or editorial decisions may submit appeals or complaints to the Editor-in-Chief, who will investigate and address the issue promptly.
9. Continuous Improvement
