Political emotions in multilateral diplomacy: NGOs in the fight against climate change and the protection of human rights

This paper aims to address the connection between political emotions and the work of NGOs in the fight against climate change and the protection of human rights in the field of multilateral diplomacy. The article inquires into the role of NGOs in multilateral diplomacy and the integration of political emotions in diplomacy and their use by NGOs for their climate action and human rights strategies. In conclusion, it is noted that political emotions can be strategically employed to support cooperation and complex problem-solving in diplomacy. Moreover, they serve as a tool that catalyzes cooperation, opinion currents and emotional mobilization.
