About the Journal

The Política Internacional magazine is a semi-annual academic publication specialized in International Relations. Its objective is the dissemination of works in areas linked and related to Diplomacy, Peruvian Foreign Policy and International Relations. Since the publication of its first issue in 1971, to date 133 editions have been published, in which illustrious diplomats such as Javier Pérez de Cuéllar and Carlos García Bedoya have written.

The published articles are written by diplomatic officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru, as well as by academics and experts from national and foreign institutions.

In addition to research articles, we also publish content in the format of essays, interviews, presentations, speeches, discussions and others, which are not refereed and are made on the basis of special invitations to recognized authors or specialists in the field.

The International Political Magazine is edited by the Javier Pérez de Cuéllar Diplomatic Academy of Peru, which is the postgraduate level professional training and research center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in charge of training, training, specializing, perfecting and updating applicants and members of the Diplomatic Service of the Republic in the study and research in diplomacy, international relations and external management.

Among its guiding principles is the promotion of creativity, research and innovation. Likewise, among its functions is the promotion of academic research, with the magazine Política Internacional being one of its tools.
